The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test - Tom Wolfe
Ken Kesey, Tom Wolfe
I read this recently and was shocked there was no fic to speak of. The way Wolfe describes Kesey in all his cult-leader-y goodness, and the way Wolfe's immersion in Kesey's world really tests the boundaries of the journalist-subject relationship, gave me a hankering for some drugged-up dubcon or just some good old-fashioned seduction.
Honestly would love anything involving these guys and/or the rest of the Merry Pranksters crew. AU where the Beatles actually do show up at their house?! Doctor Who crossover? go wild! (they did!)

Sleep No More
The Porter
Please provide me with some balm for the pain of knowing I'll never see my boy Porter again. Maybe something specifically about the end of the show and him breaking out of the loop?! If you can find a way to make a Porter story fluffy and/or funny (a tall ask) rest assured I'd absolutely adore it, but I also would enjoy something as painful as canon (or moreso). Feel free to include Boy Witch or Hecate!
Aubrey-Maturin Series - Patrick O'Brian
Jack Aubrey, Stephen Maturin
My perennial request! I love these two and would be happy to receive anything about them, either gen or shippy.
I especially adore the land-based sequences of the Aubreyad where Jack is at loose ends without a ship, so would love something set in England or in port. The Austenesque social comedy, the fish-out-of-water aspect, and of course meanwhile Stephen is off either naturalizing or spying or both. I'd love to see something set in the immediate aftermath of the war, or a different-time-period AU such as Elizabethan or WWI.
Withnail & I (1986)
Peter Marwood, Withnail
Another perenial request!
Copying 2023's prompts below...
Any sort of pre- or post-canon story for these two would be a beautiful thing. For pre-canon: what was their first meeting? How did they come to move in together? What did Marwood’s friends (if he had any) think of his budding relationship with Withnail?

Though most of the best parts of the movie take place outside of it, I love the griminess of late-60s London and the squalor the characters inhabit. I would love to read something engaging with the culture of the city, the theater scene, BBC Television Centre, the end of the Beatles... Just for the joke, give Marwood a gig on Doctor Who, and have Withnail have to sit stewing while watching it at some hookup's house.
Smut would be great but I’m just as equally as interested, if not moreso, in them as codependent, smarm-y platonic soulmates. Cuddling for warmth when their heating gets turned off, getting into married-couple fights in front of girlfriends, Withnail explicitly describing his boarding-school sexual encounters in detail to Marwood waiting for him to tell him to stop (he doesn't).
